About Us
Since 1942 we've been a family-operated farm. Our first generation was a livestock farm with cattle, horses, and chickens and our second generation changed it into a horticulture-based one while also preserving the farm. Our third generation maintained the farm as it was, but also shifted gears and managed a small engine business for 14 years until closing its doors.
Patti and Frank Lake are the current owners of the farm. While Frank works full-time as a union electrician, Patti takes care of the farm animals while everyone else is at work.
Amanda Lake, who is the 4th generation, graduated in 2021 from Delaware Valley University with an animal science degree in hopes of turning the farm back into an operational one with livestock. In 2018 chickens were reintroduced, in 2021 ducks/geese, and in 2022, 2 Anatolian Shepherd/Kangal livestock guardian dogs. While she works full-time as a pathology associate/data reviewer, she further expanded the farm in 2023 with a 6-stall barn to welcome horses once again by offering board and to one day house her own.
Jason Lake who is also the 4th generation helps in any way he can on the farm. He works full-time at Bridgewater Township, but he helps in the upkeep of maintenance on our machines.
Frankie Lake who is the youngest of the three goes with the flow but also helps whenever he can.
